AFFILIATIONS

The Road Time Trials Council (R.T.T.C.) which allows members to enter and compete in open time trials promoted by any club which is itself a member of that organisation, you may also, with the discretion of other clubs take part in club events promoted by them. This membership gives members full third party insurance in the event of any claims through accident etc. Entry forms for open events held under R.T.T.C. regulations are available at the clubroom, lists of these open and semi open events are in the form of a handbook, a quantity of which the club purchases each year about February for sale to club members It must be stressed that to compete in any time trial you MUST be a, member of an R.T.T.C.affiliated club.and the Stourbridge Cycling Club provides this facility.

The British Cycling Federation (B.C.F.) which as well as providing a general service also, caters for road and track racing., To participate in either of these two branches of the sport you must as an individual through the racing secretary of the club, take out both membership of the B.C.F. and a racing licence, prices of these are determined each year by the B.C.F. in about December for the following year. The B.C.F. also publishes a handbook which is available for sale to members.

The South Staffordshire Cycling Association (S.C.C.A.). This local organisation is federation of local clubs formed to promote cycle racing events, mainly time trials, by where members of affiliated clubs are given preference, in the event that the maximum permissible (normally 120) number of entries is exceeded.

The Cyclists Touring Club (C.T.C.).

In addition to the above which are the main bodies of the sport in the area covered by the club, we are also affiliated to the following to cater for minority interests.

The British Cyclo Cross Association (B.C.C.A.). The British Schools Cycling Association. The Hawbush Community Association.
