LeTour 2010

Postby Roger Allen » Sun Mar 14, 2010 8:59 pm

We are planning a visit to Les Carroz in July, with bikes to get some rides in and to see LeTour in Morzine and over the Col de la Colombiere.
Details:
- Fri 9 July 07.35 depart Luton. arrive Geneva @10.20. price £36.99 . Return Wed 14 depart 10.50 arrive Luton @11.35- price £18.99 .Total cost for 1 bag and bike £110.98 .CAR HIRE is about £220 this is for 2 people and 2 bikes. Digs are about £450 to £500 for 4 people to share-self catered. There ARE OTHER COSTS ie parking at the airport and insurance if needed. So all costs are around £400 give or take.
These are Washers suggestions, I hope to stay a couple of extra days, depending on what others want to do.
We'll need to meet somewhere to thrash this out, maybe a pub in K'ford on evening or afternoon?

This is the most fantastic area for cycling, very scenic and one or two small inclines to tackle.
Contact me or Washer if you fancy it.

I'm up for this! I've never actually been to the Park Tavern before.

I've never been to the Alps, either, so I'll have to come with a long list of questions. I REALLY like the idea of going this year.

Suggest The Park Tavern, Cot Lane Kingswinford Tuesday 30th March, 8pm in the lounge to discuss and sort out dates etc.
Simon & I will be there.
There are 3 kinds of people: those who can count & those who can't.
